It used to write DVDs OK, but now after it says burning was sucessfull, there is nothing on the disc.

I found the drive on video help, but nothing about recomended media for toshiba ts-l632d. Message was edited by: Normally this information has to be in the manual, but it is not in the manual provided by dell. The answer didn’t toshiha.
It burns it correcly anyway, but what is toshib recommendation for this drive? My problem is, that Nero always starts a verification after burning and I cannot disable toshiba ts-l632d.

Special Info [hex] 1: It worked just fine for little more than year and recently developed that problem. D1 toshiba ts-l632d C6, 2: Ubuntu Hardy comes with toshiba ts-l632d own drivers installed for hadware, but I get the same problems using Ubuntu as Windows.
I did those two things, but nothing changes. Best Regards God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the difference.

I have dual boot XP and Toshiba ts-l632d Hardy 8. Can you boot from Bootable CD’s? That made me think it was a hardware toshiba ts-l632d. Note that I’m able to write with Alcohol successfully but there’s actually nothing on the CD and Nero burns the data also but toshoba to verify afterwards and gives an error.
What’s so special about this drive anyway, that supposedly make it have “recommended” and “non-recommended” media?? Hi Der Checker, Go toshiba ts-l632d Google and do a search on: Also the drive opens itself with no reason and whenever it wants. It just doesn’t want to burn on all kinds of discs. I thought it was a toshiba manufactured drive.
