  Ответ: когда предложение Present Simple - ставим просто глагол с окончанием данного лица. На Present Simple указывают местоимения, такие как sometimes, usually, often, always, every day и другие.

  А в Present Continuous ставится глагол to be+глагол с ing-овым окончанием. Часто в предложениях Present Continuous присутствуют слова now, at the moment.

  Объяснение:

  It sometimes snows here in April (present Simple).

  It is snowing now(present Continuous).

  Every morning mother cooks a breakfast for us (present Simple)

  It is 8 o'clock now. Mom is cooking breakfast.(present Continuous)

  Every day father leaves the house at the half past eight. (Present Simple)

  Now it is half past eight. Father is leaving the house. (Present Continuous)

  We often watch TV .(Present Simple)

  Now we are sitting in armchairs and watching TV. (Present Continuous)

  Sometimes Mike does his lessons in the evening.(Present Simple)

  Look at the Mike. He is doing his lessons.( Present Simple)

  It often rains in September.( Present Simple)

  It is raining now. (Present Continuous)
