  1 My teacher suggested not paying attention to this problem.

  2 My teacher offered me a couple of good solutions to my problem.

  После “suggest” используется герундий, т.е. Suggest + doing, после “offer” ставится инфинитив, т.е. offer + to do. Поэтому “offer” в первом предложении не подходит чисто грамматически. Как правило «suggest» - это предложить план действий или идею. “offer” – предложить что-то на выбор.

  3 One pays their (his) attention at (to) something subconsciously, mostly through visual and sound stimulus.

  4 If you want to draws people's attention, you should be different from what they are perceiving at the moment.

  Pay attention to smth  - обращать свое внимание на что-то, причем с предлогом “to”; draw someone’s attention  - привлекать чужое внимание. В 4 предложении draw, а не draws.

  5 The fare is considerably high, petrol for such journey is much cheaper.

  6 The fee is reasonable, even an applicant from the village can afford doing this course.

  В 5 речь скорее всего о стоимости проезда на общественном транспорте, а в 6 речь о стоимости обучения. Мы говорим: bus fare, но education fee.

  7 remembering about the best life moments is one of constituents of real happiness.

  8 I would like to remind that we should focus on the result, not the process.

  Remember ABOUT smth – помнить самому о чем-л, remind smb smth – напомнить кому-то о чем-то; еще можно сказать remind smb OF smth.

  9 Painkillers relieve the sharp pain.

  10 Her relief was temporary: new problems appeared on the way.

  Relief – сущ. Облегчение; to relieve  - гл. Облегчать (боль)

  11 For me the best way to gain energy is sport.

  12 Running in the rain was a mistake: there the kid got a serious cold.

  Оба глагола переводятся как «получать», но gain, как правило, связан с достижением какого-то положительного результата через прилагаемые усилия, поэтому он не подходит для предложения №12, где речь идет о простуде. Get более универсальное слово и его можно использовать в обоих случаях.

  14 The king is not simply a blood relative of the previous King, but ideally a strong leader and a worthy man.

  Когда какое-то действие стоит того, чтобы его совершать, мы говорим it is worth doing.

  Worthy – это прил. «достойный». A worthy man – достойный человек.

  15 In case you get money for your job done monthly, the sum they pay you is called a salary

  16 If you get the money for a particular amount of work you do, then your payment is called wages

  Оба варианта переводятся как «зарплата», но Salary  - это фиксированная и регулярная оплата, обычно профессиональным сотрудникам. Wages – это часто разовая или почасовая оплата.
